In June, TikTok announced it had around 800 million active users, and it announced it had 315 million downloads by the end of 2020’s first quarter, setting a record for the best quarter for any app, ever.
But, who has the most followers on TikTok? Keep reading to discover the top 20 accounts, ranging from celebrities and dancers to pranksters and magicians!
Note: We have included TikTokers from the USA and India, despite India’s and America’s stance on the app; TikTok has 120m users in India and 80m in the States and these creators form most of list!
20. The Rock – 29.7m followers
This man makes all of our lists! Not only does he place as the 20th most followed account on TikTok, he clocks in at fourth on our list of Instagram’s most followed accounts!
19. James Charles – 30m followers
US make-up artist and social media personality, James Charles, has bagged the 19th spot on our list with 30m followers.
18. JoJo Siwa – 31m followers
Ex-Dance Moms star and the pioneer of JoJo bows, JoJo has been making quite a splash on TikTok. She clocks in at number 18 with 30m followers.
17. Kimberly Loaiza – 31m followers
This Mexican social media personality and singer has bagged herself the 17th spot with her funny videos.
16. Gilmer Croes – 31m followers
This US star is renowned for his pranks and funny TikToks. He bagged 16th place on our list with 31m followers.
15. Faisal Shaikh – 32.1m followers
Faisal is a social media personality based in India. He is the 15th most followed account on the platform and followers love his content.
14. Baby Ariel – 34.8m followers
American dancer, singer and social media personality ‘Baby Ariel’ clocks in at 14th with 34.8m followers on the platform.
13. Brent Rivera – 35m followers

The Fresh Prince Will Smith grabs the 10th spot on this list with 43.1m followers. He’s also the most popular ‘traditional’ celebrity on the list!
9. Bella Poarch – 43.6m followers
This rising star bagged her spot in the top ten after her viral video using the Time Warp filter.
8. Riyaz Aly – 43.6m followers
Indian actor, blogger, and influencer Riyaz has 43.6m followers on TikTok. He comes in at 7th on our list.
7. Dixie D’Amelio – 44.8m followers
Dixie D’Amelio is an American singer and social media personality. She bags the 6th spot with 44.8m followers.
6. Spencer Knight – 48.9m followers
American beat-boxer or “mouth music man” Spencer X reeled in 48.9m followers with his skills, placing him 7th on this list.

2. Addison Rae – 69.9m followers
As of June 22, 2020, this American dancer and social media personality has accumulated more than 2 billion likes and 49.3 million followers on TikTok, ranking as the 2nd most-followed individual on the platform.
1. Charli D’Amelio – 100.2m followers
This US dancer and social media personality is only 16 years old! But that hasn’t stopped her from scooping up the top spot and smashing the record for most TikTok followers.
Charli uploaded her first dance videos in 2019 and by March 2020 was TikTok’s most-followed account. As of the time of writing she has 100.2m followers.
